William "Bill" Sheppit was born December 25, 1911 in Gardenton, Manitoba, Canada. At the early age of 7 Bill's family moved to Minnesota and this is where he completed his schooling. Bill returned to Manitoba and at the age of 29 he enlisted in the army to serve his country in World War II as a Private in the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. He was sent overseas in June 1940 and while there met his lifelong wife, Doris, and was married in London England in 1942. Eventually they had two children,son David and daughter Pauline; both to this day reside in Regina.
Trevor Harle was born December 22, 1937 in Goodwater Saskatchewan, a small farming community, where his father was the school principal. At the age of 1 1/2 years his fathers vocation took them to Fairlight, south of Moosomin and at age 3 1/2 the Harle family moved to Regina where they became active members of the community for the rest of their lives. Trevor was also fortunate to have 2 younger sisters who still live in Saskatchewan.
Ed Schoenroth was born and raised in the farming centre of Hodgeville Saskatchewan where he spent his childhood years attending the rural school in the district leaving Hodgeville in 1941 and moving to Moose Jaw where he spend his high school years. Read More
Don Bell was born August 17th 1931 in Vermilion Alberta where he lived in his earlier years attending elementary school. Don and his family moved to Edmonton when he was a teenager and he attended Oliver High School which has now been torn down. Read More
